  When we are sick it is right to pray to the LORD for healing. But it is "more" right to ask the LORD to strengthen your faith in Him through the illness that he might finish his gracious work of preparing you for the life to come in which there will be no death, no mourning, no crying and no pain. That is the life that Jesus has won for his people in his death & ressurection.
